We don't give to a church, we give through a church.
At Ridge Point, we are passionate about advancing the gospel in Wenatchee Valley and around the world! As you invest financially in God’s work through Ridge Point, your generosity has an eternal impact.
“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Giving at Ridge Point is defined as “grace-giving from willing hearts”—never pressured. Though God could never need our money, He graciously invites us to invest into His purposes in reaching unbelieving hearts. We give because He has first given us His own Son. He provides for our needs and invites us to steward His gifts well. As we are generous through the local church, we are investing in the kingdom of Jesus Christ and His work in transforming the hearts of people!

WHY WE GIVE
Giving reflects a grateful heart that wants to give back to God a portion of what He has blessed us with. It is our opportunity to show God that He is first in our lives and that He is the owner of our finances by giving back to Him the first of what He has given to us. The Bible teaches that we should give regularly, give proportionally, give sacrificially, and give cheerfully.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
Hebrews 13:16
“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
1 Corinthians 9:13-14
“Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.”
Romans 12:9-10, 13
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another...distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.”
Romans 15:25-27
“But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.”
Galatians 6:6
“Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.”
1 Timothy 6;17-19
“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
Proverbs 11:24-25
“There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.”
Proverbs 22:9
“He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his bread to the poor.”
WHERE DOES MY GIVING GO?
Weekly Needs at Ridge Point
Ridge Point is a Baptist church, and as such is autonomous (self-governed) and self-supported. Everything from the supplies and weekly bills to our staff’s salaries are entirely reliant on the generous giving of God’s people.
Local Community Impact
Ridge Point partners with local organizations that serve our community. A portion of our budget is specifically allotted each year to help those in our community that are in need.
Washington State Impact
Our church has joined in gospel partnership with several churches, fellowships, and individuals to help churches to be planted all across Washington state. A portion of our giving each year is sent to help these initiatives.
Global Impact
Ridge Point financially supports several missionaries across the globe, as they move to a new country, share the gospel, start ministries, and more!
